Directions:
Our House is 15 min drive from Pietralunga. The closest airport is in Perugia; 40 min away. There are also airports close by in Bologna, Rimini, Florence and Rome; approx 1,5-3 hrs drive away. There are at least 5 car rental agencies at Perugia airport, which is also the cheapest and nicest of all airports :)
The last section of the road leading to the house is gravel and as it’s the mountain; goes up :) We tend to drive it in 2nd or 1st gear, calmly, enjoying the views :)))

House Manual:
Monte Paradiso, XVI century mountain farm house, stands alone at the top of Monte Splendore, in the heart of Umbria. It's a perfect place to rest, far away from any noise and light pollution.
Our beautiful marine water swimming pool is cleaned daily. Children up to 16 have to be accompanied by the adults. Please also watch your animals if you're taking them with you :)
We are an eco-friendly and bio-dynamic household, respecting nature and all it's inhabitants. There is an abundance of undisturbed flora and fauna on our mountain, it means you can have a random encounter with a spider or a bee sometimes :) We let them live in peace and they let us :)
The house takes water from 3 deep wells, it is natural, bio-tested and filtered so it is safe to drink.
At Monte Paradiso we are very keen on recycling. Umbria is one of the cleanest and best organised parts of Italy in this respect. 5 recycling bins are provided in each apartment; paper, plastic, glass, organic and miscellaneous. Please take your recycling with you on your check out and dispose to the large recycling containers at the foot of the mountain. Please leave the organic waste for us to add to our compost heap.
Home made breakfasts are made of organic, local products and are available for an additional fee. Please let us know if you'd like us to organize your breakfasts.
We offer a wide range of activities embracing our location. From mountain hikes and romantic picnics prepared by us, to horse riding and wine tasting, gin distillery visits or pottery, it is all available for you to book. Please check your options here
